For me an Epic poem is about the life or the journey of an important person who lives an amazing life, plenty of adventures. Also is the point of view of someone who is following his or her history. Maybe those poems were a way of share with a comunity and have fun, because in those times they didn't have television or radio. On the other hand, this character mentioned in the poem it turns into an icon like a "Heroe.".

I think that in those times people were so bored that they tried to find a way to be entertained though adventures like being in a war... or looking for their princess, I don't know...
Now in my case, i think i'm gonna start writing poems too, because i really don't how to waste my looooong time...i really neeed adventures LOL... or maybe i'll start writing comments in your blogs xD
