Elizabeth was twenty years old when she succeeded queen Mary, the Roman Catholic who reigned from 1553 to 1558. This new queen, Anne Boleyn’s daughter had a big responsibility in her shoulders. This is because England was miserable and people were hopeless.

This protestant girl was a very special woman. She had a strong personality but extremely vain as the movie Elizabeth showed. On the other hand this movie was divide in two main aspects. The first one was her personal believes and the second was focused on her political troubles.

Is true that Elizabeth was a strong woman but she suffered in silence the absence of a man in her life. She really wanted to know the real love and feel the pasion with it. This aspect is reflected in the story of her closer subdit and the pirate. However this affair was impossible. Also inside the movie the people call her the virgin queen. The last analogy between Elizabeth carrying a baby that wasn’t her own baby, shows her deep feeling of have something of her. That’s why she said that she only was the mother of England and she will protect them. Because she was alone.

Secondly, the main political issue was the conspiration of Mary Stuart. Elizabeth’s servants prove complicity in this plot. For that reason They killed her. But the movie showed that Elizabeth didn’t want to do it. The following trouble was the war between Spain Armada and England. This war was because the Catholic Empire wanted to bring Englang back into the Catholic religion. But, the winner of this conflic was England.

The movie was really good. It showed the real face of an important woman. Also is very connected with the text that we read about her in classes.

The Stonehenge...

One of the greatest monuments in the world has been a mystery over the time. This mystery is the Stonehenge, which is located in southern England and it is the topic that I will talk about this time.

The Stonehenge is a special place which hides a great mystery about the purpose of why it was made. Besides, it is weird not just because of its huge stones but for the position they are placed and that’s the main reason to make a research there.

In order to discover the secret, some theories have said that it was created as an astronomical calendar, others have said it is a temple to the Sun or to the Moon. However, lately, a group of archeologists unlocked the mystery by duging a hole in the place where the Stonehenge is located and they found some bodies which have signals of illness. Therefore, after doing the research, a strong theory is that the Stonehenge may have healing powers, so maybe the people used to go there to heal themselves.

I agree about the theory that said that it was an astronomical calendar. I also think that this is an amazing place, plenty of mystery.
